Rhidian nets six for Machno

The opening matches of the new season saw several goals scored in the Premier and Division One.
Star of the day was Rhidian Williams who netted six goals against Old Colwyn in Machno's 6-4 vistory. For Old Colwyn Kyle Johnson netted twice with Andy Aldred and Jake Park one apiece.
Rhyl Town AFC made a good start with a resounding 4-0 victory over neighbours Rhyl Rovers. Newly promoted Abergele FC also came up trumps when they beat Rhyl Athletic 5-1 Josh Atkinson scoring a brace.
Local derby match between Llannefydd and Llansannan saw Llannefydd take all three points when they netted four times against Llansannans one.
In Division One the top score of the day was produced by Y Glannau when they resoundingly beat Llysfaen by five goal to one. New club entry Cymru Hotspur kicked off with a three goal to two win over other new comers Rhyl Youth FC - Ben Patterson netted twice for Hotspur and Dave Jones twice for Rhyl Youth.
Llandudno Athletic celebrated their first win of the season when they won 3-2 at newly relegated Rhos United. New club entrants from the Anglesey League Llanfairfechan Town Reserves lost at home to champions favourite Bro Cernyw by three goals to one.
In all a very good start to the season with 45 goals scored, 2 own goals and one penalties conceeded. The fastest goal of the day was scored by Lewys Jones of Llannefydd in the 4th minute and a double hatrick scored by Rhidian Williams of Machno United.
