New season is upon us and the fixtures are out subject to amendments. Promoted to the Premier Division are Llanelwy Athletic, Y Glannau and Rhos United.
Machno United will this season play in Division One at their own request.
Llandudno Amateurs have been promoted to the Welsh Alliance League but will be running a reserve side in our Division One.
New teams to the league this season include Rhyl All Stars, NFA (National Football Association) and of cours Lland Amateurs Reserves.
This will be the last season for the name of Vale of Clwyd & Conwy Football League when the name will alter to possibly North Wales Coast Eastern Football League whereupon the league will include clubs from the Welsh Alliance league Division Two when that league becomes defunct.
The league are pleased to announce that our main sponsors Salisbury & Co of St.Asaph Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors are to continue their sponsorship and that Premier Cars of Bangor will continue sponsoring our Premier Cup alongside Normac Precision Engineering who will be sponsoring our Presidents Cup. The thanks for these sponsorships are down to Aled Roberts our treasurer, Chris O’Neal and Mark Goldsmith our former Chairman..
The league this year envisages problems with referee allocation and and it is a thought that each club selects a person within their club to take on board the online referees course set out by the FAW. The course costs approximately £80 which with a little persuading the league and NWCFA could fund. It’s a thought that needs serious consideration.
Good luck to you all for the forthcoming season
